Dear Experts;

I am in desperate need of help concerning this issue.
I have recently changed my CPU cooler to a water cooling H75 Corsair.
I have also added an extra intake fan since the H75 is a 2fan exhaust.

I have also changed my GPU from Asus 660GTX to 970GTX Gigabyte G1
The memory ram was 16gb and now it shows 8gb, i cannot change it on the bios and tried many things even called Asus but they have a mundane automated way of giving solutions.

I have tried many things:

1 - Swapped the memory sticks (did not work)
2 - I took out the power cable , unplugged the CMOS battery, swapped the memory sticks again (did not work)
3 - I also tried take out the video card , look for any loose PSU power cables plugged on my mobo (still did not work)
4- I have went to bios clicked the optimized default / reset etc (did not work)
5 - in the bios i have also tried to Reamp (Enable) the memory card (did not work)
6- I have also tried to go to msconfig > boot > Advance option > checked the maximum memory still shows 8gb.

I have tried many things I almost feel like a connoisseur reading all these forums. I have been playing too long on console, now that I am trying to upgrade my current PC, I am facing issues.

I have also swapped my GTX660 and some $$ for the GTX970 so it is impossible for me at this moment to change my GPU to test.

Thank you very much for any help you guys can give me.

NOTE: If you find a solution please also tell me the steps to take to arrive at the goal because I might not know how to. Thank you.

UPDATE : I have tried to Loosening the CPU and that did not work either.

OS: Windows 10 x64
CPU: i7 3770k @ 3.5ghz
Ram: 16gb but BIOS and computer properties/ AI Suite2 shows 8gb
SSD 128gb for boot/windows
HDD : 4TB

My motherboard is : Asustek Computer Inc Product CG8480
Version: Rev 1.xx

BIOS manufacturer is American Megatrends Inc, Version 0501

I have tried you it and every way works.
I even tried 1 stick at a time at each socket, and that still works.

It is really weird because the CPU-Z says I have 16gb, 3d Mark BenchMark says I have 16gb DRAM + 4gb GPU

But the Bios wont show more then 8gb...and same with windows properties...
