My friend is trying to build his own pc but the bios won't boot. He needs a way to update his bios without being able to run bios, because right now his cpu is no letting him. I've tried to find a solution but every forum I come across is about after getting bios to start up. Is there a way to download bios update to a flash drive and somehow use that to update bios? Or is he going to have to purchase a cheap working cpu to update bios before he can use his better cpu?
