WD Ultra speed decrease

when i buy wd ultra 7 th generation portable drive it show me 90-100 MBPS speed via crystal disk and when i transferred data it showed 95 Mbps but after 20 days when i transferred data it shows me 75 mbps speed and benchmark also shows 75 MBps for various filed it differs up to 10 MBPs and i transfered iso fiels and it will also goes up to 70 MBPS
why this happening ?

Hey there, technoboyhrishi!

I'm sorry to hear about your transfer rate drop with the WD My Passport Ultra! :( I'd advise you to try plugging it in another USB port and with a different USB cable to check how the speed would be then. I'd also recommend you to do a backup of the files you have on the external HDD and test it using WD's Data LifeGuard for Windows. Running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests will help us determine the health and SMART status.
If nothing helps, then you should consider reinstalling the USB hub controller drivers for your computer/motherboard from the manufacturer's official website and testing the WD My Passport's speed on another computer.

i checked with different cable but no effect nstaid speed decreased also checked with other pc 75 MBPS and now after 2 days 65 MBPs whats going on with my drivve ??
i Filled with 1.35 TB of data

This sounds concerning, @technoboyhrish! :( I'd advise you to check the transfer rate of your WD My Passport Ultra in another computer. If the speed is still decreasing, I'd recommend you to do a warranty check of the external drive on our website. It should still be covered by the warranty, so you should be able to send an RMA request to our Customer support. However, you'd need to get in touch with them first, either by phone or e-mail.

Let me know how the WD Passport is behaving on the other system, though.
