Why is my CPU so hot?

I have A10-5800K with a H7 Cyroig cooler and I get 70C when playing league of legends?
help please I've tried my best installing the cooler and I've reinstalled it several times with same results.

sounds about right. those apus tend to have some big heat issues, especially when you pegged the cpu and gpu at the same time. The H7 isn't a great cooler either.

H7 is decent for it's price no doubt there. The temperature is so high because you are playing with the integrated instead of a dedicated one. A dedicated video card will take a big load of your CPU.

Do you have any airflow inside the case ? It should not reach 70C that A10 with the Cryorig H7, unless you overclocked the hell out of it.

What are you using to read temps ??

Only overdrive can be trusted 100% when it comes to fm2+ boards.

You shouldnt be hitting much above 50c (thermal margin of 20) with that h7 cooler.

Might be using too little or too much thermal compound, it doesn't take much, Many go with the pea method but actually put too much into the 'pea'

depends on his motherboard too.

don't forget how piledriver records temps is in part tied to the temp of the motherboard as well. poor airflow over the vrms can give a +20C spike in temps on the cpu. Furthermore Piledriver cpus are notorious for NOT reporting temps correctly.

true. however since he is getting those temps chances are he has a junk motherboard, poor airflow in the case, installed the cpu cooler wrong, OR the cpu is just reporting it's temps wrong.

easiest way to narrow it down would be for the OP to pop the side of his case off and stick a room fan in the opening going full blast, see if that helps temps at all.

Those are excellent. Stress test with Prime95 Small FFTs and monitor the thermal margins. They should be 10°C or higher; the H7 should allow for decent overclocking.
