Which speed of DDR4 RAM to buy for i7 6700K/Z170/64GB?

Hello Guys,

Which RAM speed to buy for an i7 6700K and Z170 mobo? I need to put in 64GB in my new rig. However, am confused on the RAM speed part? There are price differences also between RAM's on basis of Speeds. Would a 3000/3200 RAM speed reach its full potential in this config?

I'd look at the GSkill RipJaws V or Trident Z in 2800/3000/3200 (I've got 48GB at 3200 Tri Zs running on my Hero and will be getting a 64GB set before long)

You will be hard pressed to find a performance increase in most applications and games when going to higher speed ram. Choose what your budget allows for.

The only time you should get the fastest ram possible is when using integrated Intel and AMD graphics. Dedicated graphics have their own high speed ram.
