I am having some serious issues with my computer. Unfortunately the symptoms seem to be the same.

To give a back story my computer originally had a i5 3570k, a biostar tz77b motherboard, a antec neo 620 watt psu, a evga 770 gtx 4 gig motherboard, a corsair h50 liquid cooler, a ssd corsair force 3 and a wd black 1 tb harddrive, a lg dvd drive and a few usb peripherals like a razer addler mouse, black widow keyboard and a engenius wifi usb stick.

The computer has functioned fine the last 3 years and 6 months. In December my wife complained the computer was constantly rebooting at random. It appears it was looping to the bios screen. Later on it was saying CMOS failed so i changed my bios settings back to ahci and it worked for a while then would do the same thing.

Over time it became worse where it would continue so I suspected maybe the psu was going bad. Usb components were acting weird where my keyboard would keep typing. It got to a point the computer started up gor a half second then physically shut down.

I checked outlets and there was no power going to the mobo, ran a psu tester and it appeared the psu could have been the issue and i saw the sata power cablea werent reporting anything. I called antec and they sent me a new antec edge 650 watt psu, same issue mobo had no power.

I stripped everything out and left one stick of memory in and the cpu which it booted and stayed on for 5 minutes then turned off. I figured the mobo went bad. Resetting bios did nothing.

Pulled cpu and the psu had power but nothing lit up on the board as the biostar was unresponsive.

Purchased a asrock extreme 4 board z77 and spent a few hours yesterday putting everything back together, no shorts and standoffs installed properly. Put new thermalpaste after getting rid of the old stuff and it booted fine, no issues.

Last night while i was sleeping computer rebooted its self again and then today while i was working. I thought is it possible something else is causing this? Noticed my wifi usb is having issues where its recognized but has a problem, figured maybe a short. My front usb port one is broken so i didnt plug into the mobo.

Also bought a surge protector to make sure a sure isnt causing issues. Running memtest, at this point I have no idea what else is causing this.
