After installing a new Samsung 850 EVO, Windows 10 fails to recognize it, but my BIOS does. Here are some steps I have already taken:
1. Enabled Hot Plug in BIOS
2. Changed position of SATA port into the mobo to be after the HD
3. Checked the device manager where you initialize & format drives in Windows 10
4. Downloaded Samsung Magician software, still does not recognize drive
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
You have to install Intel Management Engine Interface so Magician will detect the SSD

Check for updates, I'm pretty sure mine came from there

And the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers from the site

It's one of the above Magician needs
