Budget: $200
What will it be used for?: Gaming; Counter Strike GO: Source, World of Warcraft, Crowfall.

So I guess a 50/50 ratio of mmo and fps.

23 and 24 inch or even 25 inch monitors are great for 1080p resolution. 27 inch will be fine as well but it won't look as nice as the pixels will be larger and the image won't look as sharp which may affect you if you do reading, HW, or precise work on the monitor. For gaming, 27 inches definitely looks epic.

The reason why I chose the Acer monitor is because it is 24 inch (great) and also has 144hz refresh rate which will allow you to see up to 144 FPS which will help in CS:GO and other shooters (if your hardware is capable of running it at 140+ FPS of course).

I considered that monitor actually. As well as a few 27" options. However I'd like to play 1920x1080 and I'd heard that resolution looks bad on 27"..

Aoc 27"

Is there a cheap replacement stand for the Acer. I'm a bit meticulous and my black white build will be thrown off by the orange even though it isn't bad.

Oh I'm using a 970 gtx so I'm sure it wouldn't significantly lower frames playing on a 27" but I really like that refresh rate. I'm assuming it's a TN monitor.

This was my monitor along time ago and I actually loved it http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/672104-REG/Hanns_G_HH_281HPB_27_5_Widescreen_LCD_Monitor.html

Secondly Oleg I was curious as to what monitor(s) you use.

Lol, you really want those aesthetics I see. Well, you can make a custom stand but I do not think orange will really mess it up that much.
