Other than the cost, is there a difference in functionality between the HYNIX HMT351S6BFR8C-H9 and the HYNIX HMT351S6CFR8C-H9 RAM memory or are they the same?

The are basically the same. The only difference is in the revision of the die used to manufacture the memory. So the memory should (in theory) work together.

However. If using both modules at the same time in a computer, the modules may not necessarily work together due to variations in memory characteristics (apart from die revision). Even if using modules with the exact same part number, there is no guarantee that the two identical modules will work together due to characteristics variations.
