hey guys!
I wanna build the ultimate gaming machine!
Are the skylake cpus the best out there right now? is socket 1151 or 2011 the best? i am really confused and i can't find any good articles discussing CPUs timeline! I am an intel guy so pls no AMD!!
is the i7 6700K skylake the best cpu out there? or the Core i7-5960X Extreme Edition! i mean the 5960x have 8 freaking cores and 16 threads and the skylake have only 4 cores and 8 threads! but more Stock frequency!
there are way too many cpus out there!
plus can you recommend a motheboard and ram for the corresponding CPU?
I will probably 99% be watercooling!
with 2 or 3 way sli 980ti setup! my case is a storm trooper ! :) and my PSU would be evga 1300 g2

if time and money for you had no limit. i would use the newer skylake e chips when they drop in 2017. they be using a newer chipset then the 2011 mb that are out now. there going to have more cores out now then the chips that are out. so of you have 1000.00 for a cpu you might be able to get one with 20 cores. if your looking to get a top end build this year then look at the server cpu and 2011 mb if your going to do stream and do hi end video editing. the server mb 2011-3 have more pci slots. for gpu use the newer pascal from nvidia. there going to be a lot faster for the same money. the paper launch for them is april time frame. if you dont have 2000-3000 for a pc. then use 1151 mb and cpu combo. look at local micro center for combo...
