Hi there, I am a little short on time right now to do a research and compare GPU's right on my own, so I hope you guys can help me out a bit.

I am looking for a decent graphics card for my Phenom II 550 BE. One that this CPU will not bottleneck, at least by much. My old HD 4850 died all of a sudden and now I am using a crappy HD 6450. Something that doesn't go past $70ish and will allow me to run modern games at modest settings @ 1440x900 res.

I don't mind if it is AMD or Nvidia, used or new, or how old or new the architecture is.

Thanks

If you don't mind loudness, this card's the fastest new (ie not used) card I could find for <$75: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150682 The alternative is a DDR3 Geforce GT 740, which would trade blows with that R7 250 if it had less sucky RAM.

EDIT: Found this on eBay, it's got an older architecture but it'll be a lot more powerful: http://www.ebay.com/itm/XFX-AMD-Radeon-HD-6950-HD-695X-CDFC-2-GB-GDDR5-SDRAM-PCI-Express-x16-/191805992859?hash=item2ca8872f9b:g:skUAAOSwll1WwAHW
