The new AMD catalyst drivers degraded my performance. Ever since amd updated to their new driver and software system my gaming performance has decreased on average by about 20fps per game. I have no idea why. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling them again and it made no difference. Before they began using these drivers i could get above 60fps in everything at 1080p on the max settings. Now im barely making 40fps in borderlands 2 on mid settings. And thats ot a very demanding game at all. I have an msi r9 380. If someone could tell me whats going on or if a similar thing is happening to them that would be greatly appreciated. Also i use windows 10

Are you using the latest driver? (16.1.1) They fixed a lot of issues with it.
Another thing... in the Crimson "Radeon Settings" app did you enable Virtual Super Resolution? Since VSR renders the frame at 4K rez and then scales back to 1080p, there will be a performance hit that you didn't see with the older Catalyst drivers before VSR.
