I plan to build a MythTV/Plex server with a 4790K. I plan on using a small case so it's less of an eye sore in the living room. So I'm looking for a Micro ATX Z97 board. I also would like the onboard LAN to be Intel. There will be a lot of network activity between the NAS (holds my media) and plex clients so a good stable network connection is a must. This won't be a gaming pc and really won't be needing anything fancy for motherboard features.

So far the ASUS GRYPHON Z97 is the only one I can find that fits my requirements that isn't hundreds of dollars (or no longer being manufactured).

Can anyone suggest other Micro ATX Z97 boards with Intel NIC that I can take a look at?

Thanks

You should be looking for a itx motherboard for smaller living room pcs. I would consider Intel Xeon Processor E3-1231V3B. It will be much cheaper and is basically the same processor minus the overclocking functionality/

Thank you for the responses. The Xeon processor is something I hadn't thought of, but they don't look like they go do 4Ghz like the 4790K. Also, while I don't NEED the integrated GPU, it has come in handy at times in other builds. I think the speed boost and the igpu are worth the extra $50 to me (4790K is on sale at newegg this weekend).

The mini-ITX is something I hadn't looked into. I especially like the one you found jeffredo. It does save a bit of money over what I found. I'm just debating if it's worth losing a little future expand-ability over the M-ATX (ram slots and PCIE slots). I've looked at the dimensions of the M-ATX case I was looking at and it should easily be hidden behind the 8X10 picture frames we have on the entertainment center. It'll deffinatly blend in better than the mid-tower that's been sitting up there for years :)
