Ok these daisy chained EVGA Supernova 1200 P2 cables are driving me nuts.
I dont need 2 let alone 3 sockets so near together.
They also will be in the way of the motherboard hole at the back.

How would you cut them?
A) Very close to the first connector - with little cutter pliers, i.e. Try and cut almost inside the recess of the back of the first socket. In this case the excess will be on top so wont be close to the case.
Or
B) More unsightly but might be safer, Cut them say 20mm away from the fist socket and then put 30mm of heatshrink over the cut ends . A bit unsightly but better than 2 other sockets just hanging around on display.

I am assuming as they are replicated cutting the extra 2 off wont effect the first socket electrically?

Note I cant go and buy a single one to one as EVGA in their wisdom, have used a proprietry end at the PSU end, which would be fine if they sold their own locked in version.
