Questions about gigabyte g1 gaming 970.

Hello,
Firstly is it normal that my 970 boost's to 1418mhz when in games? its running completely stock I haven't done anything at all to it. and my friends only gets to 1396 when in games

Secondly are these temps perfectly normal or are they a little bit high for the card at stock?

Idle: 36C
In game/Underload: 69C

Yeah it seems you got lucky. Much like CPUs, not all GPUs of a certain model are exactly the same. As for the difference in temperatures, I'm guessing it's either a difference in ambient temperature, or your card raising voltage more to get those higher clocks. Either way 69C is more than fine.

What temps would be considered warm? and hot?

Also would you happen to know why my card boosts higher then my friends? did I just get lucky and get a slightly better card?

and do all cards run at different temps?, we both have exactly the same setup and hers runs at 65C where mine runs at 69C, is this also normal?

They're both in the same room so it's not ambient temp, I think you might be right about the voltage, my voltage is slightly higher then hers, it's either that or my massive Cryorig h5 cpu cooler restricting a bit of airflow
