Hello,

My name is Eugene and i live in Cyprus (north side). This is my first post here but i used to check gear reviews all the time. If this is the wrong place to post this please remove or move the post.

Unfortunately i am not so great with computers and i would like to ask you guys help. I am both looking for parts and a company to build it. My budget is max 2000 British Pounds.

I am a photographer and i do play computer games from time to time, also i do video work (only 1080p at the moment). I travel to UK every year so i can buy my computer there or if company could ship it to turkey. I also found this website in Cyprus. /www.custompc.com.cy.

As for the specs:

Asus x99 something (too many to choose from)
i7-5820k
64gb ram
Nvidia Gtx 970 to 980ti or Radeon equivalent. (I will use 1x 4k monitor + 2x 1080p)
Good liquid cooler.. Corsair h100i may be ?
1x M2 ssd thing for OS, 1x 256-500gb SSD, 2x 2TB HDD (may be another cheap SSD for scratch disk )
Tons of Fans, And those UV lights looks cool. Fan controller thing.
İnwin 904 case. (looks cool, i dont understand the features). Corsair 850 watt PSU
Windows 10 home

As for new Skylakes.. i think they don't support 64gb ram yet and/or not many companies does offer that option.

Please let me know what you think about the build and where should i order it.

Thank You.

Hello ComputerSecurityGuy,

I was looking R9 series but people keep saying Gtx is better for some reason that they can't explain. and most build websites only offer them.

From a website i could buy (Utopiacomputers.co.uk): PSU:
Corsair CS 850w, 80+ gold

That PSU is not very good. Look for something from Antec, Seasonic, or XFX.

I think 64 Gigs of ram is overkill, unless you do some hardcore video editing. 16 or 32 gigs should be plenty. Open up task manager on your current rig and monitor the ram usage when you do your video editing. You can save A LOT of money if you only need 16 gigs of ram.

My office computer has 32gb ram and when i am using after effects i hit up to 30gb usage. It happens once or twice in a year but i am considering to move 4k before 2020.

I might go to 32 gb (4x8) than upgrade to 64 though...

Fair enough. I just wanted you to be sure, since that much ram gets expensive. :)
