I have a dell inspiron i660s that i was gifted about three years ago, and since then i have been getting into csgo and other games. At first i wanted to buy a 6670, but they went out of stock. So now, im debating getting a GT 730, a R7 240, or a R7 250. My first problem is making sure it fits. The second problem is making sure that any of these will work with a 220 watt psu. The only other option is not buying anything, because my dad and mom WILL NOT LET ME UPGRADE ANYTHING ELSE out of fear for breaking something in the computer. If you could respond with a confirmation that these work, or if any other gpus with similar performance will work.

Afraid not. 1st, the card has to be low profile. 2nd, it has to be a true single slot card due to the fact that the PCIe x16 slot is right up against the side of the case. Here is a video of such a card being installed. You can see the limitations.

The 220W PSU is another major limitation that will limit you to a GT 730 DDR5 64 bit as the fastest card you can use safely.

The Evga cards might be a tight fit due to their wider cooler shroud. You'll have to measure if you want one of them.

But the thing is, the r7 250 is a low profile card, single-slot, and consumes 65 watts at max, so do you you think i could get the r7 250? Heres the link to it:http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-RADEON-R7-250-DELL-OEM-HD-8670-OEM-LOW-PROFILE-GRAPHIC-CARD/252266988395?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D35558%26meid%3Df215321285e94cbe85c9a517c57f6fbb%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D161960608949

Oh, and one more question if you can answer it. Do you think that the 8670 OEM can work with my power supply (Remember 220 watt) ? Because i've heard of the r7 250 working just fine, but I haven't really heard anything about the 8670. Thanks dude!

I still posted the wrong link above. Sorry about that. I just noticed that the comparison was with dual graphics; the HD 8670 and the HD 6670. I must have my head up am ass today.
But the fact remains, the HD 8670 is less card and less wattage than the R7-250. Your PSU should be fine.

I agree, but i've seen many reviews on a particular gpu i've kept my eyes on that state that it works with my computer... so I think im probably going to go with that one. (XFX r7 250 2gb ddr3) or, maybe an r7 240 because i've heard they work with just about anything.

Also, do you think I can trust a person who made a review on the card stating that it works in my system? When I looked at the review it said it was a verified purchase so i honestly don't know. He said it definitely worked with his psu, but i don't know if he is lying to get good reviews on his account. (keep in mind amazon verified that he bought it).

Amazon? I thought it was this card on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-RADEON-R7-250-DELL-OEM-HD-8670-OEM-LOW-PROFILE-GRAPHIC-CARD/252266988395?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D35558%26meid%3Df215321285e94cbe85c9a517c57f6fbb%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D161960608949
I would have no way of knowing what kind of seller you found on ebay. He only has 11 feedbacks. And he does not offer returns. So it is buyer beware. I sell a lot on ebay and buy a lot too. I always look for a seller that has lots of positive feedback. And I always offer at least the standard 14 day money back returns on things I sell.
His description of the card is suspect too... "removed from a new workstation before workstation was used" Yeah, right.
