Severe Tearing ever since moved computer

Hello i was playing watch dogs and noticed subliminal tearng not so much a tear but a mirage on the bottom hlaf now ever since ive installed some stuff and moved my computer upstairs its really sever like a masssive line ripping through the screen that puts everything out of alignment by 1-3cm really strange. How do i stop tearing the V-SYNC doesnt make a diffrence for me should i replace my GPU?. IT is a GTX 960 ASUS STRIX DC2OC 2GB

like rujoesmith has said if you go into your nvidia control settings you will see g-sync. It will automatically be in full screen only, you can set it to windowed mode but it works better in full screen mode.
