hello i am looking to buy the i5 6600k and i dont know much about mobo but whatre some good mobo that the i5 6600k would benefit from that i could get the full power out of the cpu. the socket type for the i5 6600k is 1151 in case anyone didn't know.

the CPU/motherboard should work with the power supply.
if you upgrade the graphics you MAY need a new PSU
the gtx 970 that is in the system will mean the power supply is at least 500W

If you want to use the memory you have now you'll need a different board that supports DDR3. The Asus board I listed supports DDR4. I did not see the power supply mentioned in the parts list so I have no idea what's in there. Usually OEM power supplies are not very good. You'll have to open the case and check the label on the power supply to see what's up there. Also, the case appears small but is listed as a mid-tower. No motherboard info is given to determine if it's ATX or micro-ATX or what the case supports. These issues need to be addressed before you can move forward with the changeover from AMD to Intel.

I'd look for a better mobo and if moving to the Skylake (6600K) go ahead and move to DDR4, these DDR3 based mobos are really designed for OCing and the low voltage DDR3 will hold you back, the 6600K is primarily designed towards DDR4 which starts out at 2133 DRAM
