Hi,

I bought a new pc and with this configuration:
-Intel i5-6500 Skylake 3.2Ghz
-Asrock H170 Pro4
-HyperX Fury 2133Mhz Cl14 16GB Kit
-XFX R9 380 4GB
-HDD WD caviar blue 1TB 7200rpm

... And the Cooler Master B500 ACAB-B1 500w V2.

For the power is ok, but I'm wondering if is a good PSU or I risk to ruin my hardware in future?

I'm a little worried... I've read some topic and no one talk good about this psu? It's so really bad or I can feel comfortable??

ps: Thanks!

I had a CM 500W it ran OK but I was warned away from it because the ripple current is way out of ATX spec. and can cause damage. There are PSU Tier, and Hierarchy charts out there. New models come out so fast it's hard to keep up. Johhnyguru is one tester and reviewer of PSUs. Corsair makes some of the best, but some are average. EVGA makes good ones too. The reviews will also tell you if there are noise issues. You might have problems in other areas of your computer and not relate them to the PSU. I dont know what specific model mine was.

I don't think you should be too worried :)

Your PSU isn't actually so bad.
It's running a little low, with 500W.

Did you already buy the Power Supply or are you considering getting it?
If you haven't bought it, I would recommend going for 650W 80+ silver.

Probably not, but it's a poor choice. Better get a better quality PSU with better performance. Something between the 400W and 500W is already more then enough as long as it has two PEG connectors.

The Cooler Master B500 V2 also doesn't support the C6 and C7 power states which means the PC could crash during standby with C6 and C7 enabled in UEFI.

That's just stupid. 80PLUS certificate doesn't tell you anything about the PSU and a 650W PSU is only usefull for two mainstream or high-end graphics cards in CrossFire or SLI.
