Hey guys, does the Corsair AX1200 (non - i) PSU a great deal? I can find it cheaper than EVGA 750/Corsair RM750 PSUs. Also some are not new, but they have warranty. Do you guys think worth it? For a future SLI/CrossFire Setup?

I have never been a fan of the AX line...it has always been reviewed well but also has always been available only at an exorbitant cost.

However, I am concerned about the return rate on the AX1200i being 10%

The AX1200 was made by Flextronics and has been discontinued for some time. Without knowing the source of the units as being reliable and reputable, I am hearing warning bells. " A "great deal" is sounding to good to be true.

The AXi is also made by Flextronics and became available in 2012 as a successor to the AX1200. That's a bit long for a "successor" to still be floating around in the channel. Not saying 'stay away" but do your homework before pulling the trigger...

Not saying 'stay away" but do your homework before pulling the trigger and make sure the warranty is worth more than the paper its written on... e-mailing Corsair and asking would be a logical step.
