I want to build a gaming pc under $1,000 usd. I don't know anything about picking parts so if someone could help me out that would be great. I just started playing h1z1 and csgo because that's what my current pc can hardly run. I want to go for a black/red color scheme if possible. Thank you.

I have 2 monitors, keyboard, and mouse

Here you go. The Corsair 110i GTX is a monster of an All In One liquid cooler, it will support extreme overclocks.

It's a mobile link

Okay, found this explanation. Seems to be a way to shorten YouTube links but it is also a way to hide trojans/viruses.

The listed build is an overclocking build which I don't support for a first time builder. They have included a EVGA G1 PSU which is an okay PSU but there are many that are better in the same price range. EVGA G2 and GS are quite good but not G1's.

They have paired a "K" processor with a Tier 2B mobo which is not recommended for overclocking. Why buy a "K" processor if you can't overclock.

In my opinion, not a really good build.

Is it possible to fix that build? I like the build because of the black and red. I know the color scheme doesn't make the pc run better but I really like it lol.

Revised build replacing the mobo and PSU. Kept the same black/red color scheme.

Thank you. Can you overclock with this build? I don't know anything about overclocking.

Absolutely, it is a build designed for overclocking. The "K" at the end of the 4690 means that it has an unlocked CPU multiplier which allows for better overclocking. The reason I changed the mobo is because this one has better power handling capability and will be able to handle the increased voltages that will be used to overclock. The PSU supplies a "better quality" of power and will enhance system stability.

And I just looked and realized there is no aftermarket CPU cooler, this you will need one to overclock. The OEM supplied unit will not be able to keep the temperatures down. Let me know if you want me to pick one and what budget. Can range from $25-150 USD.

Yes please choose one for me. If the build can be under $1100 that would be great.
