Hey im looking to upgrade my CPU. I have a i5 4670k and have noticed some performance issues. I usually play CS:GO and occasionally other titles like Skyrim, Fallout, and GTA V. When I play CS:GO and have a youtube video or twitch video up i get some serious stutters or jitters when i play CS. To the point where it is really distracting. Do you guys think a CPU upgrade would solve this problem? If so, should I upgrade to a i7 4790k or should I upgrade to a next gen i7 (means i would new mobo and ram).

Here are my parts:

I reset my BIOS settings to default (had an overclock). CPU Temps are normal (average 53 C). When watching youtube and play CS my CPU utilization goes up to 85%. When only watching twitch it goes up to 90%. When listening to music via Spotify, i get no stutter issues until a commercial plays. I have no idea why my pc is doing this

Average when browsing 53C? Is it over 80 when gaming? I think this is problem, my CPU when browsing is like 40C max, and it's OC-ed. Try replacing paste and cleaning fans. Test your temperature in games and come back then.

Sorry I tested it wrong browsing i get high 30s and when playing CS and watching youtube/twitch my heat goes up to high 40s to low 50s. This is non OC. Problem is when playing cs and watching videos or streams my CS stutters when moving around.
