CPU: AMD FX 9590
Graphics card: EVGA GeForce 660ti
Motherboard: Asus M5A99fx pro r2.0
PSU: Corsair CX850
CPU cooler: Cooler Master: Hyper 212 EVO

If you need anymore info let me know.

Problem: I have recently updated my CPU, motherboard, and PSU. Ever since when I'm playing games my computer will freeze. There is no sound being made and I am not able to CTRL+ALT+DEL to get to task manager. There is no blue screen just everything freezes. My lights from keyboard and mouse are still on but don't work. No red lights are showing up on my motherboard either. The only thing to do is to hard reset my comp. I have checks my temp on both CPU(30c-40c) and my video card(50c) and temperature doesn't seem to be the problem. Sometimes I'm ale to play for 30min before it freezes sometimes only 5min. one time the comp froze right after rebooting from a freeze before I can open any applications. I checked and it looks like all my hardware is up-to-date. Any solutions or anything I can try?

Solution
AMD maintains a 'supported coolers' listing for that 220w oven of a cpu. I rather doubt that the 212 is on the list.

found this in my quick google:
AMD.COM

Warning: This power draw of this CPU is almost twice that of the average CPU. Due to this, AMD recommends using at minimum a 1000W power supply. For cooling, AMD recommends using either either closed loop liquid cooling or full system liquid cooling.

Best of luck to you.

Clean install on what? the 9590? after I plugged everything in my computer went through 10min or installing everything then I went and made sure my motherboard and 9590 was up to date and it was. the only thing that asked for and update was the GPU

old cpu: intel i5 2400
old motherboard: asus p8p67

I did not wipe my HDD, I thought the hard drive wouldn't be affected or need to be wiped.

no it hasent

Soon find out if it works .

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 ]Get this tool run its select the version youre using

Download the ISO. Then]http://rufus.akeo.ie/]Then get rufus run it.

If the new system supports UEFI select it in Rufus then add the ISO then click on start

You need an empty flash drive. Because it'll be formatted. Wait for it to finish. Reboot go in to BIOS change it to the bootdisk.

Then boot from it. Follow what it says

In the media creation tool link when you click how to use then click "perform a clean installation" will those instructions work the same? and if so what do I do on step 12: "On the Where do you want to install Windows? page, select the partition that you want, select the formatting option you want to perform (if needed), and then follow the instructions."

Didn't mean to down vote. Gave you an up vote as compensation. My comp is now wiped with windows 10. But it is still freezing l. Only now it freezes withing 2min of booting up.
