After installing new Mobo & Cpu, computer blue screens frequently.

I recently got a new Intel i5-4690k & gigabyte z97x-gaming 3 (as opposed from my A10-6700), and installed it seemingly correctly, everything is seated properly. It even boots into windows fine, but if I try to load any kind of file once windows has started up, it blue screens immediately. I've flashed the bios required for the motherboard, and it seems to recognize the cpu and ram. So I;m not really sure what the problem is.

With a motherboard change you need to do a fresh install of windows. Did you do that? If not that is most likely why it blue screens ...

If you changed the CPU and mobo from an AMD system to Intel, then i would recommend you to make a clean install of the OS.

Have you installed the drivers that come on a cd that comes with your new motherboard?

I just did a factory reset within windows 10, but it still crashes the same way as before. I'm pretty lost.
