I agree, as said above GTX 980 SLI or 390X CF is minimum if you want to have any detail at 4k. To put things in perspective, I have a system 6700K with SLI GTX980s through a 60" Samsung 4k and still cant run some of the newer games ultra/60. 4K takes a lot horsepower. However, in my den I have a system running a single R9 390x through an ACER 4k 28" It runs games pretty decent detail at 30fps.. Personally, a solid 30 is good for most games I play (RPGs) so it is a non issue hitting 60.
