So I bought used self build computer, and it has a problem of freezing(no signal to monitor), and sounds going into buzzing loop. According to the owner before me it happened sometimes, like once a week, but to me it happens everyday.
Strange thing is, that it happens only when the computer has bees off for several hours. When i turn it on and start a 3d program (3dmark/game) it freezes immediately. Then i have to hard reset, and after that it runs fine for like 10 minutes, and then freezes again. After the second boot I can always play as long as i want, without crashing (over 4h). I think crashing happens only in 3d program.

What i have tried:
Formatting all drives, and fresh win 10 install
Motherboard bios reset
Temps are fine (cpu 50c, gpu 75c)
Also windows event viewer doesn't show anything going wrong

PC specs:
i5 2500k
R9 290
2x Kingston HyperX 1866C10D3 8Gb (DDR3)
MSI Z77A-GD65 (MS-7751)
OCZ AGILITY 3 55GB (only os there)
Kingston SH100S3120G 120GB
Samsung HD103SJ 1TB

I will try to run a game without the r9 290 to see if thats whats wrong, just takes some time, cause i have to wait couple of hours for the problem to come back.

Anything else i can do to find out whats wrong?

Solution
If possible install the graphics card on differed PC to see is the issue is the GPU or borrow other GPU just to install on this configuration and test it for few hour/days. You could open ticket on AMD too it was some issues whit latest drivers if I remember correctly.

Probably it is windows driver for the video. Could you be more specific which Windows 10 did u have install (Home/Pro/ Enterprise and if possible version release ) . Windows 10 still have too many bugs to be discover I personally recommend you to install Windows 7 - 6.1.7601 it is stable and if u don`t have some special need to install Win 10 stay away from it as long as possible.
To check HW issue boot live cd or mini OS and run some burn test there like Prime97 to confirm if there is HW issue.

Okay, thank you. I will try first to run ubuntu from usb and run unigine heaven in it. If it doesn't crash i'll install win 7.
Sure hope it's just windows messy drivers causing the crashing.

Sorry, i've been quite busy.
I couldn't run heaven in ubuntu, cause installing it while running from usb stick takes forever. Still while in ubuntu, heaven installing background i was browsing internet and the freezing happened again. Just cant be sure that it was same thing as in windows, cause my screen did not lose connection to computer, image just froze still, and i had to do hard restart.
Today when i started my computer i took my gpu power cables out and plugged my screen to motherboard, and i could run 3d mark without problems. So I'm quite sure it has something to do with the graphics card. If I have enough time today, I'll try and install win 7, to see if it's just a driver problem.

I'm running windows 7 ultimate 64bit SP1 now, and the crashing still happens. I start unigine heaven or a game, and it runs for 10-15 minutes, then crashes. After restart it seems to work for at least three hours. I am using the latest amd drivers (Radeon Software Version 16.1.1)
Any suggestions on what to do next?
