So I recently upgraded to a new keyboard, specifically the Ducky Shine 5. Now ever since then, whenever I play GW2 every 30 minutes or so all my usb ports would crash on me and I would have to wait for them to come back up. It is ONLY happening in GW2 though and it never happens for any other game. Which leads me to think that its a compatibility problem.
However, I switched out my keyboard to my old one and the problem was fixed, so I'm assuming it's something with the new keyboard. Now the Ducky Shine 5 has a ton of RGB LED keyswitches in it so maybe it's drawing too much power? I have a Raidmax 735w with a GTX970 and an AMD FX 8370 so maybe its a possibility I have no clue. My old keyboard that I'm using is the Corsair k70 if it matters.
