Hi, new here. I have a Toshiba L675-019 Satellite laptop. It was running 4 GB of ram. I did a scan test on Crucial and picked the ram that said would work in my comp. I bought 2X4GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM 1.35V....however when I install it in my computer, it just goes to black screen when it comes time to start windows. When I enter the bios it shows the 8GBs are there...my question is, why will windows not load? Im running Windows 7..thanks in advance

This is the only settings in my bios. I dont see where there is an option to change the speed of the memory.

If you can boot from your USB and not your harrdrive, doesnt sound like a ram issue, especially since you are POSTing. My guess is that you disconnected/dammaged the drive while installing the new ram. So check the connections.

If that doesn't work, try booting windows from a usb, and see if you are able to install it on your harddrive (ie it detects it)

Im kind of confused as to what you are saying....basically everything on my comp works fine when i have the 2X2GB ram in.....when i install the 2X4GB or even 1X4GB, it starts then stays on black screen with little white cursor in top corner right before windows starts. But with my old ram in windows starts fine.....
