I just realized I had no optical drive for the new case that I just bought and I was wondering if I can transfer everything to my old case with an optical drive, download windows 10 from there, and then transfer everything into my new case.

1. Also I have read about that windows 10 onto the USB thing and is there any glitches or problems cause I've been reading some comments that there are for windows 10.

2. Will the key that I have from the windows 10 disc work with the windows 10 on the USB?

Which one is easier and less problematic, the exchanging case or getting it from a USB
If it's the USB can I get a trusted site that shows step by step for windows 10.

ALSO if I were to use my optical drive on a case with no Room for that, can I have the optical drive dangling out the case cause it's just a one time use, only for windows 10 boot.

Use ''windows 10 Media Creation Tool'' to download windows as ISO file then use ''Windows USB/DVD Download Tool'' to create bootable USB stick.

You can also move your optical drive for one use only, and it doesn't matter if you installing windows from USB or CD, key will work as long as you installing same version of windows that key are for (for example home/pro/enterprise). It doesn't matter if it's x64 bit or x86 nor the language, it's your persaonal preferance.
So you're changing cases, and nothing else has changed right??

The mobo, CPU and the hdd haven't changed?

If windows has already been installed on the old case, just transfer everything to the new case

But if you still want to use whats in the old case and use the new case as well.

If Windows has already been installed on the old one with the key from that DVD, you'll have to buy it again, if you want to install it on the new system
