Freezing/lock up when using certain programs

Within the last two weeks my computer has started to freeze when certain programs are run, and only those programs. I first noticed it when viewing Adobe Flash content. The computer will lock up, no BSOD, but just a freeze requiring a hard reset. It happens with the League of Legends client as well but only after the login screen. It has only happened, to my knowledge, because of those two programs (LoL and Flash). I've updated all of my drivers, performed a clean install of windows, resat all components and connections, ran memtest and prime 95 with no errors, and haven't been able to find the culprit. I did add new RAM of the exact same make/model, but using 8gb or 16gb doesn't change anything. Though after the clean install of windows I can use certain flash websites like twitch.tv.

My specs:
ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
AMD FX-8320@3.5ghz
16gb (4x4gb) DDR3 1600 G.Skill Ripjaws X (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL)
ASUS GTX 770-DC2OC-2GD5
Corsair CX750M
1TB Seagate HDD ST1000DM003
Windows 10 Home edition 64bit

CPU temp never goes over 35 Celsius with my H60 cooler, usually around 10-15 idle. My GTX 770, to my knowledge, has never gone over 70 Celsius. I use monitoring tools for each. When the freezes occur, there is no spike in cpu usage or gpu usage, and watching the task manager for memory usage shows no spikes either. I assume its either the RAM or motherboard at this point but I'm just not knowledgeable enough, or have the spare parts, to diagnose either. Though I have tweaked with the RAM timings and such in the UEFI BIOS with no luck.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Welcome to the TH community, JJW8988!

Good job with the troubleshooting so far! I'd suggest you to also check the HDD's health and SMART status by running its manufacturer's brand-specific HDD diagnostic tool. You should be able to find this utility on their website. Make sure you take a look at the SMART attributes and that everything is okay. You can also use third-party testing tools and benchmark the results.

I'd also reseat all the connections inside your rig and make sure everything is mounted properly and there are no loose connections.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted with the troubleshooting! :)

I ran the Seagate Seatools and the HDD passed every test, and I rechecked every connection and they're all good. Still at a loss.

I also forgot to mention that it happens in safe mode with networking as well, I'm not sure what or how much that rules out. It's also caused by audio it seems. For instance, in the LoL client, when I click the play button, it's supposed to play a sound and bring you to the menu, but when I click it, it plays a very very quick snippet of the sound and locks up the computer.

Again, any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your input. I've tried both kits separately, in different paired DIMM slots, it still locks up at the same points, give or take a few seconds.
