What should i upgrade?

Solution
Assuming that HP hasn't swapped around any of the wires on the 24 pin motherboard connector, that would appear to be your only viable option. I don't know what your budget is, but I suggest that you map out this upgrade on http://pcpartpicker.com/ before investing a penny. I'd also recommend that you think about what your goals are with gaming. Are you just trying to play DOTA 2 or League, or are you seeking to play Fallout 4 at 60 FPS in 1080p resolution? If you weren't on a tight budget, I'd suggest starting fresh and building from scratch. Another question you should ask yourself, is whether you'd be better off buying a PS4 for $350. Just something to think about.

You need a graphics card, you could get a 750 ti if you want to stay on a budget, and will match fine with your cpu. If you wanted to spend more upgrading the cpu to an i5 or i7 and getting a 970 would be your best bet

But would i need to upgrade my case to like a mid tower case? Because my case right now is slim and idk if a 750ti and the power supply would fit.

You would not need a new power supply, a 750 ti will certainly fit in the case. Look for one that takes power over pcie bus so you do not need to use adapters to make it fit the power requirement such as this one:

Is this the same one?

If so it says i need 400w power supply, and mine right now is 185w

@Bugboijoe, honestly this is going to be a tough computer to upgrade.

Graphics cards: I know it's relatively new since, the processor came out in Q1 of 2015. But with a 180 watt power supply, I wouldn't even risk installing a 750 Ti. Therefore in order to simply install a graphics card, you'd need to upgrade the power supply, and since your current one is listed as "180 W SFF Bronze internal power supply", I strongly suspect that a standard ATX PSU won't fit. If my assumption is correct, then that eliminates a graphics upgrade.

CPU: The LGA1150 socket and Intel H81 does indeed support upgrading up to an i7-4790k (google query: intel h81 cpu support). The i3 4170 has a TDP of 54 watts, while the i7-4790k has a TDP of 88 watts. However, HP never made this line with the 4790k, probably because the PSU couldn't handle the extra 34 watts of power. While your computer is the HP Slimline 410-010, HP also released the HP Slimline 410-030, which had the i7-4790T, which had only a 45 watt TDP. Compared to Core i7-4790K there's an overall 16% performance decrease. SFF PCs offer the worse options to upgrade.

Sorry.

If your tight on a budget than I'd get a budget MID tower case. Something like an entry level Fractal Designs for $35 or so.

Next you need a power supply. With a single video card 550W is enough. For something half decent your talking $40-75 or so.

Take all your parts and transfer them into that case and add the best video card you can afford. Your talking $125-$500. For entry level gaming but not totally sucking I like to look at the R380 or Geforce 960 at about $260. That'll run a standard 1080p monitor. After that your into $400 territory which is expensive.

For gaming I always say you gotta be prepared to dish out $250 for a video card otherwise you're always lowering details in every game just to squeeze 30fps out of it or playing at higher details in a lagging game without knowing any better. I have many friends who game at 15fps and the game stutters and lags and they don't know any better. They are the ones who are too cheap to ever spend $250 on a video card and think that's expensive. They don't realize that real gamers are putting $400-$800 into video cards and a $250 card is just basically entry level.

Do you know if they would all be compatible with my system?

Sure all 3 will work as long as you use the new case to fit the ATX power supply. And that power supply has the 6 pin connectors for a video card. That's about the cheapest way to get something out of your computer to get you going. So at least you'll have something while you save up for future upgrades.
