Hello people
We used to have this graphics card wich had a molex connector for external power this was when windows 7 was about a month old and we got rid of it without me putting any thought into it and knowing what type it was do you think it is better then a geforce 610 1gb ddr3 or do you think yes get it out the house good job its gone

Solution
If it's that old, typically yes. Can you give me the model number?

I recommend the GT 710 instead, it just came out to replace the slow, but very popular, GT 610. It's a lot quicker and more energy efficient.

Hi sorry I got rid of it few months back and didn't look what it was its model no. or manafacture I don't know sorry - I think it had a PNY fan and heatsink on it

Thanks for telling me about gt710 is it worth saving for becuase ive got one eye on one for 50 quid or should i stick with my 610 until my next upgrade in a couple years time also it will be used to play minecraft and ets2 I can get a min fps of 60 on minecraft
on this card now

Oh so you already have the GT 610?

If that's the case, then don't even consider the GT 710. Get something like a GT 730 or if budget allows, a GTX 750 (most optimal) in the future.

Well a few months ago my gt610 died, got home from school, PC had been off most of the day, but when I woke up my pc (from sleep) there was no display, Felt my graphics card was RED hot, Never worked since, Last month my dad gave me a Palit Geofrce GT710 for my BDAY (I'm 14 BTW, Built my first computer when I was 11, and on 25 December 2015 built my current pc, Going to be its 1 year birthday this year)
