HI I get a radeon r9 290 gigabyte gpu and I installed in my
P55 extreme asrock
Intell icore 5 3.2
Ddr3 14 gb
Psu 750 w corsair
I was using an nvidia gpu 5470 1 gb and never restarts the computer randomly, and with the new radeon the computer restarts randomly the temp of the gpu it's around 60 celcious degrees when it happen and it's very random it doesn't matter the temp some times happens at 40 degrees, the question is the gpu it's damage or maybe it's having a.trouble my old mother board, thank you for your help!

If it wasn't for the fact that you had a 750W Corsair PSU, I'd say it was the PSU that was under-powered causing the shut downs/restarts. Of course, it can still be the PSU. The PSU may be defective, or if it is a Corsair CX, might have bad capacitors. The R9-290 is a 300W card when maxed out. Your HD 5470 was only a 19W card maxed out.

I think that at the begging but keeps doing that with a 500w aerocool and a 750 corsair and a 800w pixxo, so I don't know what to think, I'll try to put the gpu in other mother board and test it I'll tell you about the results, thank you for your feedback, knowledge it's power have a nice day clutch and all the community!
