Other ram,i think it's for just abit more better, also for speed and (imo) looks too.
Other gpu, cheaper and i think it will look as good for the build.
Case is imo better, there are windowed cases, but you didn't pick one yourself and this one is quality and silent as well. There are more options of course around this pricemark.
Monitor, maybe not as fast,if you're going to notice, but with ips a better display and abit bigger as well.Again more, faster, options available aroun this pricemark.
Better psu for the price and up for sli as well.

Thanks a lot for your input Vic 40. I don't know much about gpu's but I definitely like one that is cheaper that performs the same. I really like that case and yeah I could care less about looks or windows in my case. I like how it is steel and seems solid.

I don't know too much about monitors either I just want the cheapest price for one that will last and perform good and give good quality colors and what not. That one looks nice and doesn't break the bank.

That PSU is semi-modular, isn't it better to get full modular? (I know shit about psu's..)
What do you mean up for sli?
And do you think there is a cheaper motherboard that will perform the same or is it better to spend a good chunk on a quality mobo? I mean I don't want to cheap out spending the money I am on that cpu

Again thanks for modifying my build!

Hi tcprix. This is an alternative build for you. For Gaming/Streaming you will see a great performance gain w/ the GTX970.
This is the best price/performance 1080p gaming gpu for quite some time now.
You really should try the SSD: that 50 bucks will make you system so much snappier. it is an amazing thing.
The Xeon E3-1231 is really good. For its price will be a perfect match for that GTX970.
Anyway good luck mate :D

thanks filippi, really appreciate your input. Yeah I think I will go with an SSD afterall. It makes sense. Yeah I'd prefer to get a GTX 970 and thanks for suggesting a solid one. I've researched cpu's for soo friggin long man. That was what I was going to go with but I think I will just go for the i7 4790k as it's 4.0 ghz and seems to handle anything I could throw at it. I don't know much about comps but I was nervous to get a cpu w/out an igpu. I know I'm getting a gpu anyways but it could switch when not gaming to just a basic gpu so it's not always running.

Thanks for your input again, i really like your build thanks!
