Hi guys, I have a problem with games, i've noticed lately that my FPS has dropped drastically ever since upgrading to windows 10 and my anti virus didnt carry over and i got a virus, i've uninstalled my graphics card driver with DDU and then installed the latest from the AMD site and even still my fps has dropped. I've scanned for viruses with spybot, malwarebytes and bitdefender and im pretty sure i got all of them but still no luck in making the fps higher, In windows 10 when i first upgraded it was around 200 fps in league and around 150-200 in Blade and Soul.

Heres my specs

Case: VIVO ATX Mid Tower Computer Gaming PC Case / Black Desktop Shell / 3 Fan Mounts, Dual USB 3.0 (CASE-V02)
CPU: AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition
GPU: ASUS HD7770-2GD5 2GB
Motherboard:M5A97 R2.0 (Bios ver. 6/26/2015,)
Ram: G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB (2 x 4GB) (I have 16gb in total, so 4 sticks of this ram)
PSU: EVGA 500 W1 80+, 500W Continuous Power 100-W1-0500-KR

Any help is appreciated. I've checked all drivers like i said and so far none are out of date, Will i have to do a fresh install?

I see quite unlikely to have such high fps in a mmo with those specs, even at the lowest graphics settings. In windows 10, the microsoft defender antivirus app will act as default if you dont have any antivirus installed and in most online games will cause a fps drop unless you add the games to the exclusions.

I did have 150 fps in Blade and Soul, all my games are in exclusions to my firewall. I am running Bit Defender Total Security at the moment, so no need for windows defender. And no when i took the option to have the free upgrade to windows 10, it brought along my Windows 7 version of Bit Defender, which at the time wasnt able to work on Windows 10.

Hmm, the games may be exclusions to the firewall, but in antivirus solutions you have to check in the options and add them to the antivirus exclusions as well, typing or browsing the path of the game directory.

Tried that, still nothing.

Well, if that doesn't fix then its just a problem with windows 10. many people report having performance issues while gaming after the change to win 10, mostly the people who play mmos. I can only recommend to roll back to win 7/8/8.1 if you arent happy with the current performance in the games you play.

The cause for MMO FPS drops are known for years now. Almost always it's because the CPU simply can't cope constant stream of processing while many players involved on screen.
I play MMO too, Dragon Nest. Anytime I solo anything or simply PVP against 1 player, everything is fine and responsive. But once you're on lots of players involved in, like raids or mass PVP, what appear on my screen is some silly slideshow. It's the same for everyone to varying degree. If you tinker with graphical settings, it won't even help much either.

Most of the time, a stronger, higher IPC CPU would rectify things a bit. I can testify coming from a mere Q6600 to i3 4130 with the same GPU, GTX750Ti. The i3 handles things much better.

You can also search for the same scenario on another MMO titles around the web.

Well what about my league of legends fps? When i first upgraded to windows 10 it was 200 fps for about a week, after the viruses it now goes to 100 and drops down to like 70 after a while

I have no idea what is this virus you keep saying. But the way I hear it, it looks like it actually help your PC lol

On more serious note, did you maintenance your PC with something like CCleaner?
When did the last time you checkdisk your C: drives? (not recommended if its SSD)
Did you make sure your CPU load mostly on to your active games?
