I know that the i5 4690k is better than the i5 3340,and i wish to have the i5 4690k but i want to know is there a big difference between them in gaming performance?? espicially in the upcoming games of 2016 will be there a big difference between them or the games will run fine on th i5 3340????my pc specs. Are:
Intel i5 3340
GTX 960 WINDFORCE 2X 2 GB
RAM:8 GB

Will be the same or will be there a big difference???

Scaling from a haswell i5 to another haswell i5 doesn't seem to improve performance that much unless you OC, As I told you I believe the difference won't be very noticable

The 3340 is still a great cpu

The 4690k performs better than the 3340 in any situation, given that it already has a higher stock clock speed and also overclockeable, later tech. There is also the latest 6600 skylake processor, costs about the same and the performance is higher than the 4690k.

The 4690K runs at 3.5 GHz, meanwhile the 4430 is clocked at 3.0 GHz

We're spaking about a 17% clock increasement

For content creations there's definitely a difference

But for your graphics card you can have 3 extra FPS as much

It's not worth it in my opinion, unless you OC

How long do you predict the i5 3340 will be good and capable for gaming on high settings.
Note:this cpu ran many games like ASC UNITY,Syndicate, batman arkham knight,Black ops 3 on high settings

In terms of raw performance, the 4690K is around 35% faster:

UserBenchmark: Intel Core i5-3340 vs Core i5-4690K
Effective CPU Speed: 66.4% vs 90.2%
Intel Core i5-3340 - 157th / 897
Intel Core i5-4690K - 11th / 897

The likelihood of a game demanding that extra CPU power depends on several factors including your graphics settings, your graphics card and the particular game. Overall the cash you would spend to to upgrade to a 4690K would almost certainly be better spent on upgrading your GPU or possibly considering a second 960 to SLI (depending on your MOBO, PSU).
