So I currently have an AMD Radeon 7700 series with 1 gb, and I'm thinking about upgrading to a gtx 970. I was originally looking at the Radeon R9 390, but I only have a 500w power supply so that's why i'm stuck between these cards

All of these cards are currently on sale a bit cheaper where I live and are somewhat similarly priced. My pc is also pre-built (kinda regret that) so I have a smaller case which is why i'm not getting the Asus strix and the other MSI variant. My main concern here is my power supply. The ASUS says it uses up to 225w, the EVGA says it uses max 170w and recommends a 500w supply and lastly the MSI Tiger says 145w and recommends a 500w supply aswell. So is 500w not enough for the ASUS card? Also is there a huge difference between the noise on these cards? Lastly, I have an AMD FX-8300 processor, would the 970 and that processor work well together or would it bottleneck? What card would you chose? Would appreciate any help.
