Does Lenovo w520 quad core Laptop support mixture of 4GB and 8GB? for example I have 2x4GB installed , can i add 2x8GB memory on top,so i will get total 24GB memory,Is that possible?

Yes, it is possible. Install the 8 GB in slot 1 and slot 2 and the 4 GB's on slot 3 and 4, for better results.
