I burned a disk and it worked on my dvd player for only once. Why?

I burned songs into a DVD+R disc. It worked perfectly the first time I tested it onto my dvd player. But the second time I tried, it took so long to load and it froze. I tried lots of times, sometimes it would work, but then after about 10-20 minutes on using it, it will freeze again. Why is that? Can you please help me. Thanks

Burn a second disk, use slower burn speeds, test that one.
