Do I gain anything by upgrading !!! the actiontec M1424 WR Rev1 for the "Fios Quantum Gateway"?
I'm using the actiontec as a bridge for the Netgear Nighthawk R7000, the system is windows 10 and 4/5 computers are being used all the time.

Thanks for any input

I have the Quantum Gateway. I see NO reason to bridge that and use something else behind it. It is a quite good router.
I think I have 13-14 devices connected to it. Tablets, cameras, PCs, printers, etc, etc, etc.

But what works in my house may not work in yours.

When I put the question I didn't explain well., my fault.
I started by having the Actiontec M1424wr alone. This setup didn't work well, many parts of the house not reached, etc. etc. Maybe due to the fact that I do have a big house.
Next I decided to get the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 and use it with the actiontec as a bridge. This setup works reasonable well.
So I go back to my initial question, if I install the "Quatum gateway" only would this router be good enough to replace the actiontec and the netgear?
Even if the answer is no do I still gain anything by replacing only the actiontec by the Quantum and continue to use it as a bridge with the netgear?
I hope this time is clear what i'm after
Thanks

Almost impossible to predict whether the Quantum would be better than your current setup. Every house is different.
In my house, upgrading was worth it, but I was only using the M1424 by itself.

If you're going to continue to use the Netgear, changing to the Quantum won't bring any major benefit.

I know this isn't a definitive answer, but every house is different.
