Green and purple verticle lines on Samsung 4k TV

So I was browsing craigslist and someone was selling a 4k Samsung television. He was selling it for really cheap and it has a thing solid green and purple line going right down the middle of it. Would this be a simple fix or something not worth messing around with?

If I were YOU, I wouldn't take it under those circumstances. If it were ME though, I would. I'm a High School student, so. Lol, I already repair sound systems and computer systems, but for you, it's different. You'd be better off saving for a 1080p TV.

He told me when it is on. He never said if it was any of the other inputs. By the looks of the picture he has cable plugged into it and my thoughts was that it was getting a bad signal.

If you have the money to waste just in case something goes wrong, go ahead and get it at your own risk. If not, decline it. I personally would get it because I have the money to spend on chances and risks, but I know some people don't. Good luck on the decision here, lol. This is tough to make.

Yea he wants 150 for it. I know I probably shouldn't pass it up but I'm a college student with bills to pay first. My luck I would buy it and then the panel would be bad and I'd be out the money.
