what's the "best" android phone from eBay for me? replace my Nexus 4 (Fido Canada)

my Nexus 4 cell phone has a busted digitizer (strip of touch doesn't work, so i can't type "e" and can only get the "w" and "r"), so i have two options: fix it with a replacement part, or get a replacement phone.

what's some good Android 4.x based smartphones on eBay, the generic unlocked ones from China / Korea / etc.? i don't like how 5.x looks so i'd prefer to stay with 4.x stuff. don't need any extra storage slots. but i DO need a spot for my SIM card! i'm in Canada and on the Fido network, so i'd have to make sure it's compatible.

actually i could even go with a phablet, and maybe (just maybe) a smaller tablet like an iPad mini / Nexus 7 size (but again, Android 4.x with a SIM slot)

Only problem with yours, is it only supports AT&T and T-Mobile.
