Windows 7 Boot Problem

A client of mine dropped her laptop, and damaged her hard drive. (It wouldn't boot at all) I ran HDD Regenerator on it and it found (and recovered) 249 errors.

Now it will boot into Safe Mode, but it won't boot into Safe Mode w/ Networking. Nor will it boot into Windows.

I've turned off all non-Microsoft services, and other startup items.

One of the problems I've corrected is that LogonUI.exe was corrupted, so I replaced it.

When it tries to boot, it gets to the logon screen, and flashes between the "Windows blue" wallpaper and a black screen several times, then finally pops up an error message:

LogonUI.exe – Application Error

The instruction at 0xfb28c8c4 referenced memory at 0xfb286080. The memory could not be written.

Click on OK to terminate the program.

Again, I replaces LogonUI.exe already. I've also swapped memory.

Thoughts, before I go with the Nuclear Option and reload from scratch?

Solution
Heres a video to show how to replace the drive https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-5YSPimZCk Ive done it twice on the same laptop. The HDD would cook in the palm rest after about a year, finally replaced it with a SSD and havent had any issues since then.

The only reason i say to replace the HDD is you have no idea what the head did to the platters when it hit the ground.
Since the laptop was dropped i would buy a new HDD or SSD to replace it. Your only asking for more trouble reloading windows on the same drive.

Since it seems you can boot into safe mode you might be lucky enough to be able to put the old drive in a caddie and pull all the info off it with a new install on a new drive.

I have all the data, and even pulled the key for her copy of Windows and Office. Part of the reason Im trying to avoid pulling the drive is because this is an Inspiron N5010. Getting the drive out of this chassis is a friggen nightmare.
