G.Skill Ripjaws V Don't Have A Name in Windows

So the RAM is working perfect has been since I've had the system (2 months now), however it has appeared as something like "Unknown RAM" with the correct speed and correct value (2300MHz and 8GB) both in programmes on the OS and the BIOS. On my old desktop with generic Samsung RAM its read as Samsung. Just wondering if it was a thing that will pretty much stick around or is there someway of getting the name?

As long as it's running at spec , your fine.

Were they reading right before.

Yes they've always been reading correctly, just you can understand that I would like them to appear in the system as G.Skills

Since always

Ever since first boot (went in to BIOS to check both modules were picked up), I saw it was picking it up but yeah no brand or anything has appeared ever

Must be BIOS or sensor issue.

At least they run at Full Spec , so they are being read properly at some point.

There's always a chance you could brick the board , but that's your choice.
