Hi, I'm planning on assembling a desktop pc, mainly for gaming but I'd like it to be able to perform good on editing programs like illustrator and photoshop.
My budget would be around 600€ (I live in italy) but I wouldn't mind staying on the cheap.. I know a good and cheap processor for gaming is the "new" intel pentium g3258 due to its great single thread capability and the fact it's overclockable but I'd like to go for a quad core like the i5 4690 so that I could get a nice multi tasking performance, another cpu I saw that had great price and specs is the amd fx 8350 but I am puzzled by it since I know it's very power hungry and perhaps 8 cores are wasted at the moment?
I am fascinated by compact pc builds, that's why I was thinking about building on a mini itx or micro atx mobo, but I'm pretty confused on what's best.
For a gpu I'd be opting for either a gtx 960 4gb or a similar amd card (r9 380?).
Unfortunately I am very confused on which mobo and cpu to go for, and that's what I was hoping someone would help me with. I wouldn't be playing anything at higher than 1080p but I'd like to be able to max out other graphic settings.
Every suggestion is very welcome, thanks
