Hi, I recently purchased a gaming pc about 2 months ago and have bene in love with it. My gpu is factory overclocked and has all this extra stuff to make it last a long time. I was just wondering however, ive been overclocking it and trying to get a stable oc but will this damage anything. Even When I raise the voltage and overclock alot my gpu stays at 60 degrees-63 degrees under full load so I dont really see an issue. But anyway, is it worth it or should i just stop? also would me overclocking it for two months make a difference if so as in lifespan wise.

Do some research on the card you have, and find the max temperature your card can get without frying. Then find out how much headroom do you have with your PSU, because that's...

If the cooler is bad, the GPU can over heat and possibly die. But most of the cards now a day, have coolers that give you a lot of overclocking headroom. And if you're worried about it putting stress on your hardware and dying faster, don't be okay. Because by the time it does die, you should have enough money to just buy a new GPU.

I do agree with this but the card has all this extra alluminum or something idek and it says it will last longer so should i just leave it at its factory oc or just overclock it anyway as long as the temps arent too high?

Do some research on the card you have, and find the max temperature your card can get without frying. Then find out how much headroom do you have with your PSU, because that's another factor. And if you have a stable temperature, go ahead and overclock, but you don't need to be overclocking 24/7, just when you need it.
