Hey guys pc noob here. Even though I've never built one I have done tons of research and I just wanted to see if it paid off in the build I created. One more thing, is the bios fine with the mobo I'm using for amd because pcpartpicker gives me a compatibility note for it?

It all looks fine as long as your ok with not having much upgrade choice with the cpu and it is quite old now but it will still work fine. I would suggest looking an intel cpu or waiting for amd zen cpus to come out. The rest of the build looks good and can last you for a while. The only thing i might suggest is getting an ssd to boot the operating system from if you want it to load faster.

@Luke, one other thing that I overlooked in your build; could you please choose a better quality power supply?

Below I've pasted a link that has four PSUs; all SeaSonic. Two of them are 520 watts and the other two 620. The higher priced of each of the two wattage groups is the modular versions, which is why they cost a little more. The SeaSonic S12II would be a much better choice than the Corsair CX.

Would this be able to run most new games at 60 fps 1080p?

Depends on the settings. The numerous benchmarks and reviews of the 380 will show about where its going to run ans the i3 isn't going to slow it down in the majority of games.

For monitors do you think the Asus VE228H would be sufficient as the built in speakers could save me 40 bucks in total? Or does the Asus VS247H have something reasonably better(not size wise)
