MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7
Headset: Hyper X Cloud 2

I've done multiple things, like running repair, updating my MOBO drivers from the website and the disc provided. I get the disc probably had some old drivers, but I had no internet connection since I am not using any wireless adapter/card.

I have no after market sound card, the only one I have is the one pre-installed on the MOBO. It's Creative Sound Core 3D. I did grab the latest audio listed driver for Win 10 on Gigabyte's website. Only problem is, it seems like it's all software related. All of the software is looking for a 3.5mm connection and I'm hooked up via a 3.5mm to USB dongle (provided with the Hyper X Cloud 2). I did update the firmware in the dongle as well. Old computer runs Windows 10 with no sound problems, and never even updated the firmware.

I'm looking for some solutions, considering I've uninstalled drivers, tired updating the driver, even tried looking for the generic windows driver (which I could not). The static can vary from basically none at all, to it being all I hear.
