Hello guys.
Cant seem to find the solution.

Im upgrading my girlfriends PC. She has 2gb of ram. Im trying to upgrade it with a brand new RAm with 4gb.
Her old RAM is 2gbs with 1333Mhz. I bought her a 4 GB, MUSHKIN RadioActive FrostByte, 992005, DDR3 1600Mhz.
The problems come now. I put the new one and pc keeps rebooting without any monitor signal. I put the old one and everything works fine.
Everything with the new one wont load and will keep rebooting.
I resetted the BIOS from the motherboard and it keeps giving me the same problem with the new one...
Any opinions? Thank you

PC specs:
Motherboard- ECS H61H2-M2 (V1.0)
CPU- Intel Celeron G550 dual core 2.6Ghz
OS- Windows 7, 32 bits.

Any questions just ask.

Thanks in advance

Yes, it may not be compatible with your motherboard. I would simply try trading it in to the store you bought it from and buying a new stick. Check Newegg if youre in America, they have great deals. Also try Ebay.

I would recommend clearing the CMOS. You can do this by unplugging your PC from everything, then taking out the CMOS battery for 1 minute. Put it back in, reboot, and it should work fine. If you don't know where your CMOS battery is on your motherboard, just check your motherboard manual.

I wish you the best of luck.

Brand new problem also... Bios keeps resetting. I checked the clr cmos jumper and is fine, the problem started before taking the cmos battery and it never had any problem before so i assume is not the battery.

Might be a bad ram stick. Also, make sure you are putting the RAM stick in the right slot. Check your motherboard manual for which slot to put the RAM stick in when only using one.

With the old one everything works fine on slot that it was previously installed. If I switch that one for the new one it will start that problem... the motherboard only has 2 slots for RAM. tried every position and nothing seems to work. I'm thinking if it can be compatibility problems. The motherboard uses non ecc and unbuffered rams. Does the one I bought is non ecc and unbuffered (on the website it says udimm)

Thanks
